Area residents from several Christian traditions are once again gathering weekly for a meal, fellowship and a Lenten devotion.
Each Wednesday a light lunch is served at 11:45 am, with an ecumenical devotion from 12:15 to 12:45 pm. A donation of $5 is requested to defray the cost of the meal.
St Joseph Catholic Church hosted the Lenten Luncheon last week, Ash Wednesday. The rest of the schedule is as follows: March 12, First Presbyterian Church; March 19, Trinity Lutheran Church; March 26, Gospel Open Bible Church; April 2, Christ Lutheran Church; and April 9, First United Methodist Church. All are in Jefferson.
The public is very cordially invited to attend any or all of the luncheons.
